Our new Turku branch in Urusvuori strengthens Avesco's service offering in Southwest Finland. The new facilities enable us to expand our workshop operations, develop our spare parts services and provide more comprehensive support throughout the entire lifecycle of Cat® machines.
Improved Facilities for Maintenance and Repairs
We had been looking for new premises in the Turku area for some time, as our previous facilities had become too small for our operations. Our new branch offers over 500 m² of workshop space and approximately 200 m² of office and customer facilities. Floors designed to accommodate heavy machinery, high access doors and a drive-through workshop make handling large machines easier.
"The new facilities give us much better opportunities to develop our workshop operations and serve customers in the region," says our Workshop Manager, Marko Seilonen.
The branch provides service reception, spare parts sales, machine sales and product support services. Our spare parts inventory will be expanded based on local customer needs. In addition, a new washing hall of approximately 150 m², scheduled for completion in early 2027, will allow even large machines to be thoroughly cleaned before maintenance and repair work.
A New Base for Field Service in Southwest Finland
Located close to the Turku Ring Road and Tampere Road, the Urusvuori branch offers excellent transport connections, including easy access for heavy machinery. In addition to workshop services, the new facilities serve as an important base for our field service operations throughout Southwest Finland.
"The Turku region has needed a proper service base for some time. The new facilities and convenient location support both the launch of our workshop operations and the day-to-day work of our field service team," says our Regional Service Manager, Pasi Luoto.
Our field service team currently consists of three technicians operating in the Turku and Pori areas, with a fourth technician joining soon. We are also recruiting a workshop technician for the Turku branch. Our team will continue to grow as operations expand and customer demand increases.
Expert Support Throughout the Machine Lifecycle
Marko Hurme, who recently joined Avesco, is responsible for product support sales in the Turku region. With extensive experience in the earthmoving industry and a strong understanding of local customer needs, Marko helps customers find the right solutions for their equipment – from maintenance agreements and preventive maintenance to more extensive component and machine rebuilds.
Our Turku team also includes Machine Sales Representative Sami Kukkonen and our experienced Spare Parts Specialist Mikko Niemi.
Customers Test Drove the New Cat® 319 at Our Open House
During our Open House event in October, customers had the opportunity to explore our new facilities and test drive the new Cat® 319, a compact-radius excavator in the approximately 20-tonne class. Also on display were the Cat 315 and M315 excavators and the Cat 906 compact wheel loader.

Our Turku branch will reach full service readiness over the coming winter. The building's exterior will also receive its final finishing touches in line with our brand identity, making the branch even easier to recognise and locate.
The new facilities provide a solid foundation for developing our services and expanding our team. Our goal is to serve customers throughout Southwest Finland even more comprehensively and help keep their Cat equipment productive throughout its entire lifecycle.
